New Marineland Maxijet Powerheads

I recently purchased a new Marineland Maxi jet 1200 power head.  I have used the older style power heads for years and have always liked them.  They have many uses and are very reliable.  Out of the box the new ones are quite impressive.  They now include a propeller in order to do the “maxi jet mod” people have been doing for the last few years. The 1200 pushes 295 gph in its normal configuration or 1300 gph with the propeller.  It also includes a new Omni-Directional Mount.  The mount still attaches with suction cups but it will allow greater direction control of the power head.  With the propeller it pushes a ton a flow especially for the $25 price tag.  If you are looking for a versatile power head that can be used for circulation, feeding reactors or many other uses, this is a great power head to have laying around your fish room.
