This book is a great book for beginners.  It discusses how to set up an aquarium, gives information on equipment and talks about saltwater fish and invertebrates.  It has plenty of color photos and is easy to read.

These are aquarium books that I own and reference when I need information.  I highly recommend any of these aquarium books.
